Boulder Sunshine Canyon Wedding | Lopa and Stephan

A huge blog for a HUGE wedding! Lopa and Stephan were married in Boulder’s Sunshine Canyon at a beautiful mountain home that had to be rebuilt after a devastating wildfire last year. The combination of over 2000 colorful prayer flags, bright, green rolling hills, black, charred trees and dramatic weather made for an exciting day and fabulous photos. The worldly couple made this wedding their own by having a traditional South Asian Puja ceremony and entertained guests from at least 3 different countries as they celebrated traditions from their Mexican and Serbian heritages.

Thanks Lopa and Stephan for making my job such a pleasure! Your Sunshine Canyon wedding will be one I remember forever!

Jessy & Billy | Denver Wedding Photographer

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Jessy and Billy is how much they compliment each other. They are both hilarious, know how to have a good time and have some serious moves on the dance floor.

We weren’t expecting snow on the ground in late March but the couple handled it with grace and ease and we were gifted with some beautiful afternoon light. Their wedding at Denver’s Forest Room 5 was a complete blast. Good food, lovely guests and one of the most charismatic couples I have ever worked with. You guys rock! I’m so honored to have been a part of your day.

Kerra & Patrick | Destination Wedding in Playa del Carmen Mexico

Kerra & Patrick recited their vows standing on white powder-soft sand, looking out onto crystal clear turquoise water, with 30 of their closest family and friends watching under a perfect blue Mexican sky. Their destination wedding in Playa del Carmen Mexico was held in Maroma Beach, just north of Playa del Carmen, and has been voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. These Texas natives couldn’t have chosen a better location to have their destination wedding. The all-inclusive El Dorado Maroma threw the newlyweds an amazing beach party and I feel so lucky to have gotten to be a part of such an joyous occasion with such a fun, warm and all around beautiful couple at one of my very favorite places in the world.

Brown Palace Hotel Wedding | Kristen & Andrew

I rounded out a spectacular 2015 photographing Kristen & Andrew’s Brown Palace Hotel wedding in Denver, Colorado. I love working this location because the old hotel is so well preserved and there are so many interesting places to make photos. Plus, their Onyx Room, where Kristen & Andrew held their ceremony and reception is breathtakingly beautiful.

Destination Wedding in Costa Rica | Day 1

I had the absolute pleasure to photograph Lindsey & Chris’ destination wedding in Costa Rica this winter. There were so many amazing, beautiful moments over the two days I spent documenting their destination wedding I decided to break up my blog posts into two days. Day 1 was spent on a fantastic sailing trip that set sail from Playa Conchal and took a group of about 30 people to a quiet cove for swimming, snorkeling, snacks and, of coarse, tropical libations.

Boulder Colorado Winter Wedding | Krista & Wil

Krista & Wil were blessed with a beautiful snowstorm during their Boulder Colorado winter wedding. The adventurous couple braved the fridged temperatures for some snowy portraits before they recited some of the most eloquently written personal vows I have ever heard at the Wedgwood Banquet Hall. They were surrounded by friends and family equally as warm and welcoming as they are and danced, drank and celebrated the New Year, and the start of their lives together, long in to the evening.
