Another amazing Boulder engagement photography session at Wonderland lake (and downtown briefly) with another wonderful couple. I am well aware that I do shoots at the lake often but in my opinion, that place is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Boulder, Colorado. Plus, each season and each session brings me different colors and different ideas. Congrats on your engagement Lisa & Eric!
Rachael & Chris were joined on a beautiful day by a small group of family and friends for their Estes Park, Colorado wedding held at the Black Canyon Inn and Twin Owls Steakhouse. After a fantastic engagement session with the happy couple last year, I knew their wedding was going to be a joy to document. Their energy and love for each other is palpable, and they did such a good job with all the little details of their wedding making it such a fun and memorable day for not only their guests but for me as well. Here are a few of my favorite moments from their Estes Park, Colorado wedding.

Alyssa and Brett’s Boulder, Colorado engagement photos were so much fun to make! We started in downtown Boulder where I photographed them zipping around on their red Vespa and then wandering around Pearl Street. Then we headed up to Chautauqua Park for a more rustic setting hiking through all of the tall, golden grass as the sun set on this fabulous fall engagement session. Best of luck to the two of you!
These wonderful Colorado engagement photos were made in Boulder down near the town’s colorful creek path. Nicole is a yoga teacher, Chris was her student and after great persistence Chris managed to charmed her enough to break her rule of never dating students. His incredible charm and her graceful yogi presence helped make this one of my very favorite engagement sessions. They were such naturals and Chris was able to make Nicole laugh so much, I loved being a witness to their love.
It started pouring rain as we drove up to Conifer for Lindsey & Chris’ mountain engagement session. Lindsey was glued to her phone watching the satellite weather, and we all had our fingers crossed as we drove through barely visible conditions on our way up to a spot near Flying J Ranch. Five minutes before we got to our destination, in typical Colorado fashion, the clouds parted and a huge rainbow appeared. Our persistence paid off. The sun was shining, the aspen leaves still retained their brilliant golden color and although their tiny dog, Caroline, ruined her freshly washed fur, their mountain engagement session was a total success. Can’t wait to join them in Costa Rica this January for their destination wedding that I’m sure is going to be unforgettable!
