I’ve been super busy with wonderful, fall engagement sessions. I love this time of year and capturing sweet moments in the great, golden sunlight. More coming soon from Rachael & Chris’ Boulder engagement session!

A few photos from a beautiful wedding at the Denver Westin Hotel and the Chapel at Red Rocks. Congratulations Niki & Tuee! Sorry your sneaky peeky was a bit delayed. I hope you like this quick glance of an unforgettable day!
I met Lindsay & Chris while backpacking through Costa Rica and I was super honored when they contacted me a few weeks after and asked me to photograph their wedding. Knowing what an adventurous couple they were, I asked them if we could try somewhere new for their engagement session. They were totally game and I started looking around Boulder for a new place to photograph. Harlow Platts Park, down near the south Boulder recreation center, popped out at me and it completely paid off. This Boulder engagement photographer was inspired by everything! The lines in the bridges, the buds on the trees, the reflections in the lake. It was so refreshing to be somewhere new for one of these shoots!
2013 was an excellent year for me. The business grew tremendiously and once again I got to work with a plethera of open, welcoming and adventurous couples at some of the most beautiful Colorado (and Costa Rica!) wedding venues. The photos below are some (not all) of my favorite moments from the year. Some of the moments that I will forever remember… like a father’s old hands folding a pocket square for his son about to walk down the aisle, bridesmaids fawning over the beautiful bride, a father wiping a tear from his face, grandma wearing curlers and playing solitaire, a flower girl picking wild flowers, fly fishing… kisses, tears and so many smiles.
This wonderful, crazy job of mine had me photographing weddings during a Valentine’s Day blizzard on top of a mountain, among golden aspen trees in the crisp fall air and along the steamy beaches of tropical Costa Rica. Every time I meet with a new client I get excited. Excited of the possibility to work with a new family, to share some laughs with a couple brimming with love and to help document the beginning of their future together. I hope this collection reflects the beauty, humor and subtle moments that I aim to capture and I am so looking forward to working with all my wonderful couples of 2014. Thanks so much to everyone who helped make 2013 awesome!
A new Year’s Eve wedding… what fun!! I met Carrie & Billy a couple years ago when I photographed Carrie’s brother’s Estes Park wedding and I was so pleased when they had me come back for their special day. Repeat customers are the best!
Carrie & Billy came in from Chicago and had an amazing Colorado wedding reciting their vows at the Church of the Holy Ghost followed by a wild party in downtown Denver at the Brown Palace’s Onyx Room. Their guests came ready to celebrate and celebrate they did.
What a fitting day to get married… a new year, a fresh start, a wonderful night to begin the rest of your lives together. So happy I got to start the new year off with such a fantastic couple.
So, these photos look a lot more like an engagement session than a wedding but this is actually Olyvia & JD’s wedding day! The French-Canadians did a private quiet ceremony with just the two of them and then met me for a fun, informal photography session out at Chautauqua Park in front of the Flatirons, then over at Varsity Lake on the CU Boulder campus.
So much fun and so in love are these two, we had a blast working together! Félicitations Olyvia & JD! I hope you enjoy your time in the states.
