I began shooting documentary-style wedding photography in 2002 and was immediately in love. Weddings are incredibly intense events. I find the outpouring of honest emotion breathtaking and I feel blessed to be able to make images of the true human spirit on a regular basis. As a trained observer, I have a keen eye and the uncanny ability to capture the subtle, spontaneous, often overlooked expressions of love that pass between a couple. My style is purely photojournalistic. I prefer to remain in the background, taking an editorial approach to documenting the day, watching intently for real moments to unfold. Wedding day photos are a tremendously important piece in documenting the beginning of two peoples lives together. I strive to make photos a couple can sit down and look back at 50 years from now and remember the feeling- remember the emotion of that exact moment- and be grateful for the image. I’d be honored if you let me tell your story. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Photo- Communications.
