Garden of the Gods Club | Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer

The Garden of the Gods Club is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Colorado and the word “fresh” kept popping into my head when I thought back about Jackie & Tim’s wedding there. The bright flowers, the coral and turquoise color scheme, the sweet kisses and long, giant hugs, even the tiny sprinkle of rain that fell as Jackie was escorted down the aisle followed by thankful rays of sunshine; everything just felt so fresh, so genuine and all the love so wonderfully raw.

The first time I spoke to Jackie & Tim was via Skype. The two world travelers were living in the Bahamas and as a testament to how much these two people are loved, they were able to wrangle friends and family from all of the world to come help them celebrate in Colorado Springs. Highlights for me included hearing Tim’s 90-yr-old grandmother saying grace, with such grace, before the dinner, Jackie’s rockin’ cowboy boots under a simple lace dress, the rainfall of confetti as they walked up the aisle, Tim on air-guitar and of course the deep, slow Caribbean flare.
