Stacey & Ryan’ s Estes Park wedding couldn’t have gone any better. From the perfect weather, to the flawless execution by Jessie at Tangerine Room Events, to all the thoughtful details including the awesome ColoRADo Converse sneakers, their wedding at the Black Canyon Inn and Twin Owls steakhouse was outstanding. There were so many laughs, tears and wonderful moments for me to capture. These two are such a fun and easy-going couple, we had a blast at their engagement session last fall in Vail and I truly loved photographing all of the joy of their wedding day. Thank you Stacey & Ryan for having me come document your day!
These two were kind enough to write me this wonderful testimonial:
“Simply put, Kira is amazing! She’s like a sneaky little photo ninja, weaving in and out of areas and always being in the right place at the right time. Her editorial style is unmatched by anyone here in Colorado. If you want photos that are full of heart and emotion then she’s perfect. She doesn’t overly post process the photos to a point where they feel fake; she’s all about the moment and capturing beautiful shots.
She went out of her way to make sure we had gorgeous engagement photos. She also got our engagement and wedding photos back in a very timely manner. And on top of being an amazing photographer, she is also super sweet and nice. She is so easy to work with and wants nothing more than to capture your moments in time with a smile on her face. We highly highly highly recommend Kira to anyone who needs a wedding photographer or life/editorial photographer for that matter. We will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you Kira!”
(This is the second time a client called me a “ninja” 🙂 )
Just a few quick favorites from Libby & Bryan’s Breckenridge wedding at Ten Mile Station from last weekend. These two were awesome to work with and had such a fun group of family and friends. Can’t wait to get through the rest of their photos!
Such a beautiful backdrop for such beautiful people. Jackie & Tim’s Colorado Springs wedding at the Garden of the Club was incredible! More coming soon!
I met Lindsay & Chris while traveling in Costa Rica for a destination wedding last year. We briefly chatted over breakfast and they told me not only were they from Boulder, CO but that they had just gotten engaged while on this trip. It was kismet!
After our wonderful engagement session I knew working with this fun-loving, adventurous couple was going to be a breeze and it was. Their Boulder Canyon wedding at the newly revamped Wedgewood Banquet Hall (formerly the Red Lion) was spectacular. There were so many lovely moments and thoughtful touches to their day. I loved the bright, sunflowers in the bouquets and the incredible energy from all of their guests long in to the evening.
Thank you Lindsay & Chris, seeing a couple so in love like the two of you are is truly honoring.
From the couple:
” We met Kira in Costa Rica right after we got engaged and it felt serendipitous that she was a wedding photographer that lived in the same city as us. We are so glad we went with her for our wedding pictures. She takes great photos, is efficient and captured every moment without being intrusive. Kira has a sweet and positive personality, which makes it easy to work with her. Thanks Kira!”
It was so wonderful to hear from long-time clients Beth and Robbie and to hear that they had a sweet baby girl named Eloise who was about to turn one. We quickly set up a Boulder family portrait session at the fabulous Harlow Platts Park in Boulder, Colorado and even added their dog Oso to the shoot. I photographed Beth & Robbie’s amazing Vail wedding at the Piney River Ranch and Donovan Pavilion back in 2011 and it is still one of my very favorite weddings to date.
I loved Elosie’s sweet smile that revealed two front teeth, her curiosity about everything and watching her take wobbly steps on her cute, chubby bare feet. We made photos in meadows of wildflowers and with the beautiful Flatirons looming in the background. Such a sweet Boulder family portrait session!
