I’ve been super busy with wonderful, fall engagement sessions. I love this time of year and capturing sweet moments in the great, golden sunlight. More coming soon from Rachael & Chris’ Boulder engagement session!
I’ve been super busy with wonderful, fall engagement sessions. I love this time of year and capturing sweet moments in the great, golden sunlight. More coming soon from Rachael & Chris’ Boulder engagement session!
I met Lindsay & Chris while traveling in Costa Rica for a destination wedding last year. We briefly chatted over breakfast and they told me not only were they from Boulder, CO but that they had just gotten engaged while on this trip. It was kismet!
After our wonderful engagement session I knew working with this fun-loving, adventurous couple was going to be a breeze and it was. Their Boulder Canyon wedding at the newly revamped Wedgewood Banquet Hall (formerly the Red Lion) was spectacular. There were so many lovely moments and thoughtful touches to their day. I loved the bright, sunflowers in the bouquets and the incredible energy from all of their guests long in to the evening.
Thank you Lindsay & Chris, seeing a couple so in love like the two of you are is truly honoring.
From the couple:
” We met Kira in Costa Rica right after we got engaged and it felt serendipitous that she was a wedding photographer that lived in the same city as us. We are so glad we went with her for our wedding pictures. She takes great photos, is efficient and captured every moment without being intrusive. Kira has a sweet and positive personality, which makes it easy to work with her. Thanks Kira!”
I met Lindsay & Chris while backpacking through Costa Rica and I was super honored when they contacted me a few weeks after and asked me to photograph their wedding. Knowing what an adventurous couple they were, I asked them if we could try somewhere new for their engagement session. They were totally game and I started looking around Boulder for a new place to photograph. Harlow Platts Park, down near the south Boulder recreation center, popped out at me and it completely paid off. This Boulder engagement photographer was inspired by everything! The lines in the bridges, the buds on the trees, the reflections in the lake. It was so refreshing to be somewhere new for one of these shoots!
This is a long overdue post about Lauren & Matt’s engagement session which took place last winter while I was home in New Jersey. I’m flying back this weekend to photographer their wedding and can’t wait to work with these long-time friends again! The engagement shoot took place on a warm December day and we were given some of New Jersey’s beautiful, sunset, golden light to bask in as we wandered around Davidson’s Mill Park. Love these two and can’t wait for this weekend!
So, these photos look a lot more like an engagement session than a wedding but this is actually Olyvia & JD’s wedding day! The French-Canadians did a private quiet ceremony with just the two of them and then met me for a fun, informal photography session out at Chautauqua Park in front of the Flatirons, then over at Varsity Lake on the CU Boulder campus.
So much fun and so in love are these two, we had a blast working together! Félicitations Olyvia & JD! I hope you enjoy your time in the states.
I had so much fun working with Niki and Tuee during their engagement shoot in downtown Boulder and at Chautauqua Park. The fall colors were still vibrant and this stylish couple were total naturals in front of the camera. Their Denver wedding next summer is going to be amazing!
