This weekend couldn’t have gone better in Vail. It was a perfect fall wedding with a cloudless blue sky, golden aspens and a little snow on the ground.

Sunshine Mountain Lodge | Colorado Wedding Photography
It was so much fun to spend a few hours with this sweet, humble and artistic couple. Jane & Jonah planned every detail of their unique wedding and pulled off a wonderfully intimate day at Sunshine Mountain Lodge in Allenspark, Colorado. Rain showers didn’t dampen their moods or their adventurous guests enthusiasm as they hiked to the top of Sunshine Mountain for the ceremony. I just love the black and white photos from this wedding. Thanks you two! It was a pleasure.

Lily Lake | Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding Photography
Katie & John came out from Indiana to have their wedding at Lily Lake just outside of Estes Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. I met them briefly at Taharra Mountain Lodge for a few getting ready photos then we wandered around the lake making portraits before their tiny group of guests arrive. They had a beautiful day for their intimate wedding and I feel so honored to have spent a couple of hours with them documenting their simple and beautiful exchanging of vows.

Traditional South Asian Wedding At Wild Basin Lodge | Allenspark Colorado
I had been looking forward to Nikita and Gabriel’s traditional South Asian wedding for a really long time. I just knew it was going to be an event filled with vibrant colors and seeped in beautiful ancient traditions. It lived up to all my expectations. The yards and yards of brightly colored sari’s, the smells of authentic Indian food, hands and feet decorated with henna, chanting, throwing rice, building a fire, blessings and more blessings, mango lassi on tap- it was seriously an incrediable event, a photographers dream! The weather at Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, Colorado held off just barely long enough for their outdoor ceremony and our wanderings making portraits. It was a wedding that will be hard to forget and I truly had a fantastic time.
