Kate & Stephen’s plans for an outdoor spring wedding were spoiled by an unexpected late May snowstorm but luckily they were able to find the historic Shannon Red Barn in Lafayette, Colorado to host their intimate ceremony. Joined by only their families, these two had a very emotional and personal wedding ceremony and were major troopers as we wandered around the farm in the snow making portraits.
After their Red Barn wedding, everyone headed to downtown Louisville where Kate & Stephen went on their first date and they gathered at 740 Front Street restaurant for a delicious, quiet dinner.
Kate & Stephen are some of the kindest, most generous and kind-hearted people I have ever met. I simply loved that they didn’t let the weather spoiled their spring wedding and made the day uniquely their own. It was beautiful to document two people so in love.
